In Ireland we’re blessed with so much pure, clean rain, we have the highest growth rate of grass in the Northern hemisphere. In fact, 80% of farmland in the North West region is grassland; that’s double the European average. With high levels of Omega 3 essential fatty acids, grass provides more nutritional benefits to cattle than any other type of feed.
Meat connoisseurs also benefit from eating our grass fed beef because it is packed full of natural minerals and vitamins – compared to grain fed beef it could be as much as 10 times more beta–carotene, three times more Vitamin E and three–times more omega–3 fatty acids essential for growth, development and brain function.
Plus it’s a great source of CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) – a fat that reduces the risk of cancer, obesity, diabetes, and a number of immune disorders. Grass–fed beef like ours also lowers cholesterol, is less calorific yet it retains a deliciously, beefy flavour that more than delivers on the palate.
As for taste, our customers are just as excited about the fantastic flavour. We believe taste should speak for itself. But it depends on the quality of the animal, what it’s been fed and the way it’s been raised.
